Matt Stansberry

Founder & CEO

Matt is a visionary business builder. Since founding Nominee from a spare bedroom in 2010, Matt has been the force behind building the agency and its culture into a national level boutique branding agency, with an impressive range of clients like Radiohead, Thunder Basketball and The Jones Assembly. His zeal for excellence, endurance, and vision for success are what keeps the Nominee machine running 24/7.

In 2014, Matt was recognized as one of the Business Time’s 20 Under Forty and has over a decade of design and creative direction experience. He also hosts the Night School podcast (@nightschoolokc) – an after-hours gathering for skill-seekers expanding their creative knowledge and expertise.

Matt is also very active in the music industry, currently recording and touring with his band Matt Stansberry & the Romance (mattstansberry.com), as well as being a consultant on various music projects. He also enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters.

Natalie Kent

Creative Director

Natalie is a creative powerhouse, the happy medium of big-picture vision and detail-oriented execution. She can take on just about anything, from full-scale creative direction & brand strategy to storytelling and concept development. Always curious, Natalie is constantly searching for the next big idea for our clients and what can move our industry forward.

In 2017, Natalie was awarded the Top Ten Creatives in Oklahoma award by AIGA Oklahoma and has given talks on branding at the American Marketing Association Oklahoma chapter, Night School, and AIGA. In addition to being a formidable speaker, Natalie created the group Zero Waste OKC (@zerowasteok) which advocates for living a waste free lifestyle and educates the community on how to do so.

Tim Giddens

Director of Operations

Tim is our efficiency guru and with him, anything is possible. Constantly thinking one step ahead, Tim usually has the solution ready and tested before you even ask the question. Yeah, he's that good.

Tim manages project timelines with an ease that comes second hand to him. His natural teaching ability and charisma are what make him an invaluable asset to our team's workflow. Amid client projects, Tim also keeps a pulse on Nominee culture, making sure that our internal processes keep everything running smoothly and efficiently.

His passion for teaching extends into the community, where he is an adjunct professor at Oklahoma Christian University teaching web design and development classes. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Cara, and his daughter, Hazel.

Elizabeth Farabee

Director of Client Engagement

Elizabeth’s communication expertise is a powerful force to reckon with. She has mastered the art of strategic marketing and elevates our team with nearly a decade of international experience. Elizabeth is on the frontlines managing client communication, providing high-level strategy, and identifying how we can best serve our clients.

Elizabeth’s work is focused around business development, providing value for our clients and helping them achieve their goals. The highly relational and strategic work she does is what makes Elizabeth’s role so vital to our team.

When she’s not networking the heck out of a room, Elizabeth spends her down time prepping for marathons, practicing yoga, and traveling the world (sometimes all at once).

Callie Ridley

Studio Manager

Meet the captain of our studio. Callie runs a tight ship managing our busy schedule, keeping all things organized, and making sure the Nominee machine is always running smoothly. Not only does she know the inner workings of Nominee like the back of her hand, but she is the first person to greet you with a smile when you walk in the door, and she’s passionate about creating remarkable experiences for our clients.

Callie loves discussing movie pop culture, especially Wes Anderson movies (The Darjeeling Limited is her absolute favorite–don’t try to say otherwise), is a thrifting guru, and enjoys experimenting in photography with her Minolta film camera.

Christian Robinson

Brand Designer

Before joining our team, Christian started his own freelance business, specializing in hand-lettering and illustration.

Since then, Christian has honed his skills to become an extremely sophisticated and forward-thinking brand design expert, crafting unique experiences for each project he works on. Christian's ability to translate strategy & messaging into a thoughtful visual language takes our brand development process to the next level, and he brings his ideas to life in a deliberate and memorable way.

When he's not in the studio, Christian can be found skating, enjoying drinks and ramen with his friends, or watching One-Punch Man.

Zac Jensen

Front-End Developer

Zac is a superhuman front-end developer who pushes the boundaries on every project he works on. He tackles each new website with an eagerness to innovate & looks to dynamic motion to create a unique experience for users.

Zac builds websites that people enjoy interacting with and aspires to create an original concept each time. He can take our clients' ideas and interpret those into a fully functioning website, pushing the project even further than originally conceived.

Outside of being a developer phenomenon, Zac spends time reading blogs, cooking, hanging out with his dog, Frank, and staying active—fishing, camping, backpacking, and rock climbing.

Caleb Stewart

Multimedia Manager

Caleb is a detailed designer, developer, and communicator. He's a real life jack-of-all-trades and an absurdly talented addition to our team. Caleb can conquer any problem put in front of him, and his attention-to-detail and meticulous nature ensures that every projects that comes across his desk leaves 100% on point. He gets results and goes above and beyond client expectations.

Caleb enjoys taking content and making it well-organized and well-designed, working through a problem to find a solution. When Caleb can take a brand and expand upon it (paying attention to both the small details & the big picture), that's when his expertise truly excels.

Besides being a digital mastermind, Caleb enjoys playing and listening to music, recalling *very* specific pop culture trivia, and reading good books (his favorite is The Great Gatsby).

Mia Le

Portfolio Design Intern

Mia is a senior graphic design major at The University of Central Oklahoma. The thing she enjoys most about design is using her creativity to make an idea come to life.

Outside of being an innovative designer, Mia's biggest passion is....food. If you have any restaurant recommendations in OKC, send them Mia's way.

Rod Whitson

Senior Brand Advisor

Rod has been there and done that, and brings tremendous experience and value to helping Nominee and its clients achieve their goals.

Rod serves as a trusted advisor to CEOs, founders, owners and other key executives, with a proven record of leading strategic growth initiatives in diverse organizations. Rod has served as CEO/President of three financial services firms. Rod also served as President of The Townsend Agency in San Diego, a firm specializing in technology and life sciences branding and marketing. There he led successful international strategy and branding engagements for Bank of Southern California, Marsh & McLennan, Intel, BAE Systems, QUALCOMM, ARM, Toshiba, Dowpharma, Merck Biosciences, Accelrys, Diversa, Gen-Probe, Applied Molecular Evolution and a host of early stage companies. Rod and The Townsend Agency were awarded the Strategic Planning Award for distinction in the practice of strategy by the Association of Strategic Planning. He serves on the editorial board of The Journal of Brand Strategy based in London in addition to teaching branding, messaging and positioning at The University of California, San Diego.

In between meetings, you'll catch Rod reading The Wall Street Journal and restoring vintage BMW motorcycles (he currently has four, but is always on the lookout for the next barn bike). Rod has been married to his #1 fan & inspiration, Kathy, for over thirty years who he's raised four "mostly grown" children with.
